Lastovo Apartments and Private Rooms

Local people at Lastovo are keen to rent their spare rooms and apartments to tourists and travellers.

This additional source of income has become recently very important , especially since after the war, when Island of Lastovo has become open for foreign visitors. (Foreign visitors were not allowed to visit Lastovo during socialist era, as Lastovo was for 50 years important Yugoslav military base at Adriatic Sea.)

However, in last few years, Lastovo has open it's doors to foreign visitors as ban of foreign travellers is lifted by Croatian government.

Also it become better connected with Croatian Mainland by ferries and catamarans, so more people are visiting it and locals are much better equipped to offer at their homes rooms and apartments for holiday rent.
